Abstract
Nanotechnology has emerged as one of the most transformative innovations in life sciences, offering unprecedented opportunities in diagnostics, drug delivery, and therapeutics. The unique physicochemical properties of nanomaterials, including their small size, high surface-to-volume ratio, and tunable functionalities, enable their application in areas such as targeted cancer therapy, biosensing, and regenerative medicine. This article reviews recent advances in nanotechnology for life sciences, highlighting applications in disease detection, personalized medicine, antimicrobial resistance management, and advanced drug delivery systems. Ethical and safety concerns surrounding nanomaterial use are also discussed, along with future directions for integrating nanotechnology into clinical and industrial settings.
